The Historic Square

Dixon is the county seat of Lee County.  The building at 212 S. Ottawa Avenue is situated directly across the street from the Lee County Court House in a well-maintained area of preserved historic properties surrounding the Court House Square.  One of these buildings is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the others would qualify.

Boulder as seen on the Court House lawn across the street marks the location of Lincoln's 1856 speech
